Coach Scott Rickles is a 1989 Southside High School Graduate. He obtained a degree in Pharmacy and his M.S. in Science Education from Auburn University. He was also Graduate Assistant at Auburn under Coach Jimbo Fisher. He has been coaching for 9 years at Emma Sansom and 1 year at Gadsden City. His wife Heather is a 1990 SHS graduate. They have two daughters: Casey, age 5, and Mary Ann, age 2. He is now Athletic Director, head football coach,and teaches Test Prep, which consists of working with students in the areas of math, science, history, langage, and reading.
